My Trailer Trash Dream

Every movie star has a story about the moment they realized life could be a little more... unscripted. For me, it started with a character named Larleen — and a dream that rolled right off the page and onto the highway.

Yes… turns out I am like my character, Larleen.

I had a dream to travel around the country in an RV — and it happened!

Turns out… I am trailer trash! 😄

We weren’t sure we’d love RV life.

We weren't even sure how many months we'd try it.

But renting one was so expensive that we decided to buy a truck and trailer instead.

Our thinking was: if it didn’t work out, we could always sell them and still come out ahead — instead of spending all that money on a several-month rental.

Turns out, we both love it!

And we ended up traveling to 13 different states for five months this past summer.
