It's Too Complicated - Fu!# it, Do It Anyway!

I can't do it
It's too difficult
I don't know what to do
It's easier not to do anything
It's comfortable to stay the same
But dang, it sounds like a lot of fun!
An idea often pops into your thoughts
This idea makes you feel excited, motivated!
It's a passion, a purpose, it's unapologetically YOU
Start moving in that direction
Start planning what to do
Take action
And then do it!
The details will fall into place
Don't get bogged down or overwhelmed with the unknown
Step by step, start each step
You can do it!
DO, don't think too much.
For a few years my husband and I were thinking about 'Glamping' in the U.S. and Canada
We love to travel
But since moving to Puerto Vallarta in 2016
Were busy with our business
And mostly traveled to visit family in Chicago and Seattle
In 2023 we had the opportunity to start traveling more often
And traveled internationally in 2023 and 2024
We also thought about traveling around the U.S. and Canada
There's so much we haven't seen there
And it'd be nice to visit our families for longer periods of time
We went 'round in circles about how to travel in the U.S. and Canada...
Let's travel in an RV trailer or fifth wheel
No let's buy a car and stay in hotels
Think it'd be best to be in a small van
A van may be too small let's buy an RV trailer or fifth wheel
Bigger RV it is
Wait won't it be easier to buy a car and store it since we live in Mexico
Maybe a van will give us more options
Our final decision was a Van
Then my husband spoke to a friend who started Rv'ing last year
And this friend who knows us well told us that a Van would be too small
He knew we wouldn't like it because we'd be living in it
Sometimes for several weeks/months at a time
Oh
He's probably right
An RV it is!
There was so much unknown that it was hard to wrap our head around
What it would actually be like to be moving around in a house on wheels
Would we always be outside
Or are there times we'd be inside for long periods
For the past few years we'd been looking at and researching RV's
And liked the Air Stream the best
Until Todd found the Brinkley - great quality, service, modern design, room for a washer/dryer, huge storage spaces,
The kicker was the kitchen island - it has dog bowls that pull out from it - SOLD!
So we went for it
Via an iphone from our Mexico home
We purchased a brand new 1 ton GMC Denali truck in Spokane,
And a brand new Brinkley RV in Salt Lake City
Three months later, we picked them up to shop for necessities
And figure out how to RV
Was it a lot of work to figure all of this out?
Absolutely
Especially while living and owning a business in Mexico
Was it worth it?
Hellz yes!
You can manifest
And do anything
You'll figure it out
Once you make the decision to do it
Figuring out the details will come to you later
As you start taking step by step
It'll become clearer and clearer
Be open
DO IT
When your thoughts go to the negative
Accept them, then let them go
Then plan the first step, write it down
And GO FOR IT

Let's pick up the truck and trailer! The weather in March, 2025 was chilly, but we didn't care. We were ready to pick them up, hike a little, shop (a lot) for necessities, then store them and fly back to Puerto Vallarta until it was warmer.
