The Medicine Within: Two Healing Tools

For years, I believed that healing only came from outside of me —
from doctors, medicine, or experts who surely knew better than I did.
But after wrist surgery, I discovered something much deeper:
our bodies know how to heal.
They just need us to listen —
with patience, peace, and a little faith.
Sometimes we do need doctors, medicine, or surgery.
And sometimes, we can help ourselves heal more fully after the surgery is done.
Breaking My Wrist — and Opening My Mind
I broke my wrist. My first broken bone.
If you’ve gone through something similar, you know how tough it can be —
mentally and physically —
for weeks and even months.
Once surgery is complete and successful, the bone itself takes about six weeks to heal.
But it’s everything around the bone —
the tissue, the energy, the emotions —
that can take much longer.
Finding Peace Through Pain
I’ll admit — I wasn’t in a good mental place right after it happened.
It was painful, and I could literally feel my energy radiating at my wrist for weeks.
So, besides trying to keep my thoughts mostly positive,
I found peace through two healing tools that truly helped me thrive each day.
🪷 Tool #1: Healing Meditation
I created my own healing meditation journeys,
while listening to soothing whale music.
Some days, I switched it up and listened to one of Joe Dispenza’s healing meditations.
I practiced for about 15 to 25 minutes each day —
and those moments became my sanctuary.
I could feel:✨ Comfort✨ Peace✨ Acceptance✨ Healing energy
Even acceptance of the titanium plate and screws in my wrist.
Those sessions became sacred —
a reminder that I could participate in my own healing.
I created a short healing meditation (12 minutes) you can use anytime —
for physical or emotional healing.

💫 Tool #2: A Course in Miracles
The second tool that supported my healing was the book A Course in Miracles.
At the time, I was studying the book with my dear friend and teacher, Josef.
Each day, I’d read a new lesson — and each message lifted me.
The words reminded me of love, peace, and oneness.
They strengthened my faith, restored my calm,
and helped me remember that I wasn't alone —
that none of us are.
Healing is rarely just physical.
It’s emotional, energetic, and deeply personal —
a dance between science and spirit.
Whether your healing comes from surgery,
meditation, prayer, or time in nature,
remember:
you are part of the process.
Your body, mind, and spirit already hold the wisdom you need.
Trust them.
Be your inner movie star.
